Morizumi Gets Knobs

First off, sorry for my sluggish posting of late. I've got a number of pressing projects right now and you'll be hearing news about them soon.

In the meantime, I've got some Morizumi's back in stock and they ALL feature a cool new pair of lever knobs. Hard to believe we've been adoring these machines for years with only featureless levers. No more!

Trim Knob

This shape is magical. Mr. Morizumi found the right ergonomics from Italy. Grasp the knob and it fits exactly in your palm:

Perfect for back and forth action.

The threading knob is also tailor shaped for the long arc the lever travels in its operation.

Teardrop does the trick.

Again, perfect ergonomics for the threading arc in which your hand slides across the knob.

The threading lever finishes its movement after about 120º of travel. At that point, your hand has changed position, hence the smooth, teardrop shape.

Every new Morizumi comes with these levers and we've received a few to retro-fit. The two knobs cost $30. To install, just cut off the clear tubing "grips" on the former lever and tap the lever into the knob with some gentle blows. Easy, permanent fit.
